Native App vs Mobile Browser
The buckshot Android app offers native performance — faster load times, offline caching of your account summary, push notifications for settlement alerts and withdrawal confirmations, and smoother scrolling through Liga 1 fixtures and live-dealer lobbies. The web app in iOS Safari and web browsers on any device delivers the same functionality with no installation, instant updates (you always get the latest version), and cross-device continuity — your session is the same whether you use phone, tablet, or desktop. Choose the app if you play frequently on Android and want the snappiest experience; choose the browser if you switch devices or prefer no installation overhead.
Device Requirements and Compatibility
Our Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most Android phones and tablets from the past seven years meet this requirement. The iOS web app works on iOS 12 and later — any iPhone or iPad from iPhone 5s onwards, plus all modern iPads. The web browser version works on any device with a modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge on Windows, Mac, Linux, or mobile.
Common Installation Issues and Solutions
If installation fails, verify that "Install from unknown sources" is enabled in your Android security settings. Some Samsung devices hide this option under "Apps" instead of "Security" — check both. If the APK file is corrupted, delete it and download again. If the app crashes on launch, clear the app cache in Settings, Apps, buckshot, Storage, Clear Cache. If you cannot find the APK download link, check your email for a buckshot support message or visit the app section of your account dashboard. iOS users who cannot bookmark the web app should restart Safari and try again — web app bookmarking sometimes requires a browser restart.
The buckshot app keeps your account secure with encrypted login, two-factor authentication, and session encryption. Your sportsbook bets and live-dealer play are logged server-side.
App Permissions and Account Security
The buckshot Android app requests permission to access the internet (required for all network activity), access your device calendar (to set reminders for upcoming Piala AFF or Champions League fixtures), and optionally access your location (to identify your timezone for settlement notifications). We do not store your location; we use it only to display local times. The iOS web app has no special permissions — it uses standard web technologies. Both paths encrypt your login credentials and never store your password in plain text. Enable two-factor authentication on your buckshot account — you receive an SMS code each time you log in from a new device or browser.
